Allyson is an occupational therapist and founder of Orbit & Oak Therapy. She earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2021 and is currently pursuing her doctorate through the University of Montana. Allyson has experience working with individuals across the lifespan, with a primary focus on pediatrics.
Her clinical background includes school-based, inpatient, and outpatient settings, supporting children with developmental disabilities such as autism and ADHD, as well as physical disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, and genetic conditions. She holds a certification in sensory processing, as well as her Autism microcredential through NBCOT.
With over 10 years of animal care experience, Allyson created Orbit & Oak Therapy to combine her passions for occupational therapy and animals. Her goal is to provide a positive, inclusive environment where children can grow, connect, and thrive through meaningful, nature-based experiences.
